About the plan

As a result of changes to the Biosecurity Act, the RPMS is now known as the Regional Pest Management Plan.

The Waikato Regional Pest Management Plan (RPMP)  sets out the strategic and
statutory framework for managing plant and animal pests in the Waikato region. The objectives specific to each plant and animal pest are set out in specific sections dealing with plants and animals.
