Waikato Regional Council has received a suite of resource consent applications from Hyndmans Quarries Ltd (A Swap Group Company) that seek to continue and extend existing quarrying activities at the site known as
Hyndmans Quarry on Morrinsville-Walton Road, Walton.
The consent applications lodged with Waikato Regional Council are
AUTH135098.03.01 - To divert the Piakonui Stream and construction of associated culverts
AUTH135098.01.01 - To undertake works in High Risk Erosion Areas in association with quarrying activities
AUTH135098.08.01 - To discharge cleanfill to land at Hyndmans quarry
AUTH135098.05.01 - Discharge stormwater and process water to the Piakonui stream
AUTH135098.02.01 - To discharge overburden to land in relation with quarry activities
AUTH135098.99.01 - To take and use up to 600 m3/day of pit lodgement water.
AUTH135098.06.04 - To take and use up to 260 m3/day of water from a tributary of the Piakonui Stream for processing and dust suppression activities
AUTH135098.04.01 - To undertake bed disturbance works in association with the diversion of the Piakonui Stream

The closing date for submissions on the application is 12 July 2017.
Any person may make a submission on the application, but a person who is a trade competitor of the applicant may do so only if that person is directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the application relates that:
(a) adversely affects the environment; and
(b) does not relate to trade competition or the effects of trade competition.
Your submission must be made in writing, and on the correct form (form 13). You need to then send it to Waikato Regional Council, either
