Bus services in the Waikato

Waikato Regional Council is responsible for contracting and providing bus services in Hamilton city and for some of the region's communities. Information on these services is available on the BUSIT website(external link).

Total Mobility

Total Mobility is a door to door national transport scheme involving disability support agencies, taxi companies and local government. The scheme is designed to increase the mobility of people with disabilities, to allow equitable access to the community.

Regional Public Transport Plan 2015-25

The Waikato Regional Public Transport Plan 2015-25 specifies how the council intends to give effect to the public transport components of the Waikato Regional Land Transport Plan and meet the objectives of the Land Transport Management Act 2003 in an efficient and effective manner.
